Demon Knights #2 Out Today

It's in your comic shops today, and from tonight at 7pm available digitally too. You can see a preview with four pages of lovely Dio art here.

My new project is still going to be announced at the New York Comic Con, and the artist will be there to do it. So look out for that on Friday. (I'll blog it immediately after.)

And China Mieville was kind enough to mention my work in his recent interview about comics.

Bye.

I shall hurry to the comic shop after work then. Is your new project with DC?

  • Jill Says:

So you went from dinosaurs to robot dragons? How do you expect us to handle all this awesome?

  • govikes Says:

Great job Paul! Humor, action and a flying horse! What else could anyone want.

  • Paul Cornell Says:

Thanks, everyone. I'm really enjoying the online reaction to the second issue. Cheers.

  • Djack Says:

You know, I really do love this series. I'm allowed to say that at two issues in, right?

  • Paul Cornell Says:

You're allowed to say that whenever you like!

  • Steve Says:

I grabbed and Stormwatch 2 last night and loved both of them a huge amount (Demon Knights is edging ahead for me though as it has Etrigan in it). Damn it Paul, you may have got me buying floppies again rather that trade waiting.

BTW would have loved to chatted with you at FantasyCon, but you snuck off before we could catch you at the end of the Kim Newman Q&A.

  • Dan Says:

    Hi Paul,

I really enjoyed Demon Knights #2, it was so much fun. The sense of adventure and humor is great and I love the focus on character. Etrigan has been extremely awesome, I love his relationship with Xanadu, and Vandal Savage and Shining Knight steal all their scenes. Eating dinosaurs! You can't go wrong with that. Diogenes Neves' artwork is beautiful and I look forward to Mike Choi. Keep up the great work!

Every time Vandal Savage says something, I laugh. I'm really enjoying this series. Especially the wit.

  • YSK Says:

Very enjoyable issue, there was just so much in it!
Vandal Savage munching on roasted dinosaur and using it to block arrows was funny.
Shining Knight riding on Vanguard was great.
    Mechanical dragons! :D

  • Paul Cornell Says:

Thank you, all. Steve: but I stayed put for the dancing, all night!

  • Steve Says:

So I understand from Terry Martin's Facebook comments.

  • Ian Cullen Says:

Got hold of my issue yesterday and enjoyed it a great deal.

Nice intro for the Horse Woman. And the main demon character reciting poetry was fun too.
