Ten Things for the Weekend -
Oh sod it.

That was far too full a weekend to sort out the Ten Things as well.
I'll have an SFX Weekender report midweek, and then I'll see you for the regular Ten Things next weekend. Cheerio. Snork.

Hardly surprising - SFX was epic. I have been camped out on my sofa since I got home myself!!
Brilliant time had by all, just a shame about the accomodation!
Yeah, the accommodation was certainly memorable! Can't believe SFX are holding it there again next year. :/
Really good panels - the tie-ins one was more interesting than I'd expected. A question I almost asked is whether the prejudice is partly reliant on the direction of the translation from medium toe medium. It seems acceptable to adapt a book into a film, but not the other way around.
.... had tickets and could not make it due to family commitments, really miffed. Especially as would have heard the news that Neil Gaiman is writing for Doctor Who.
I have though discovered the joy this weekend of reading Marvel Comics on my large screen with my digital subscription. Have any of yours been digitised yet Paul, I didn't think to look as I have the real deal versions of Captain Britain etc.
I hope you don't mind, but I made a feed for this over on DreamWidth, which may be found here:

I just sent my friend the Gaiman news and his immediate response:
"I'd rather see another Cornell episode."
I'd rather have both. :>
Awww! And he falls asleep in a Huxtable sweater. Adorable. :) Glad it was such a great time. If you're not ready to collapse at the end of a con, you're doing something wrong.
Was so jealous to read everyone's accounts of SFX Weekender. I need a convention STAT.
I didn't mind the chalets at all, I was only there to sleep. Yes, good point, book to film is always okay. I'm not sure if I'm represented by the Marvel digital set up right now or not. I'm eagerly waiting for the IPad to change the way we read comics. Muc: I don't do Dreamwidth, but if it's just a feed like any other, then fair enough. And thanks, and about the sweater!
