Dark X-Men: The Miniseries
I'm having a fantastic time at Worldcon in Montreal, preparing to present both drama category Hugo Awards this evening. We're in that pause as the convention draws in a breath ready for the ceremonies and parties of tonight, and everyone starts getting excited.
So I'm delighted to announce that, one country down, something has happened to distract me from my nerves: Marvel have announced, at Wizard World Chicago, that me and Leonard Kirk will be working together again, starting in November, on a miniseries featuring the Dark X-Men. I'm very excited about the project, and to be working with editor Nick Lowe and Leonard again. The band's got back together. Here's the cover for the first issue, with certain characters missing...

Now to get back to rehearsing my Hugo introductions. I'll have a full Worldcon report shortly, and will Twitter who wins! (Especially swiftly if Doctor Who makes it four in a row!) Until then, Cheerio!

Good luck with the Dark X-Men.
And good luck with the presentation, don't forget to fully enjoy Montreal.
You were a very fine presenter at WorldCon. Kudos!
Great news!
This looks good, I was a little disappointed that Emma Frost didn't skin Dark Beast after what happened in the X-Man #50/Generation X #50 crossover but I'm glad that Cornell is writing this.
Read that interview with Nick, Leonard and yourself on CBR(Where Mr Kirk praises your extensive collection of 'Gregorian chant recordings'...)

This series sounds great. Nate Grey? There's a character I never though to see again. I still have most of the original X-Man series, at home. He's been away far too long. And what better time to bring him back.
Really looking forward to this.
Great news! Good luck with Leonard Kirk!
Dark X-Men mini series looks interesting. I hope it sells shed loads of copies.
Was sad to hear that Doctor Who missed out this year. Nice to see Doctor Horribles Sing Along Blog get some love though. Not sure how it fit the category though. I mean surely they should just ad a category for web production so Doctor Who can win the other one every year heheh.
Ordered one of the Fables trades. Not sure if it is the first set of books, but hopefully I can jump right in and get immersed. Will let you all know what I thought at some future date.
This was the most exciting announcement in recent memory. Was going through withdrawals without Captain Britain and MI13, and then some comic news site tells me the creative team is bringing back my favorite childhood superhero... Insert that SNL image of Andy Samberg's O face.
So now that the band is back together, Am I Catman or Spaceman, to Leonard and yourself, as The Demon & The Starchild, respectively?

Thanks, all. Thanks, Steve. CIB: 'Cornell'? Hello? I'm right here! And that would be a bit impolite, right there in front of Norman, wouldn't it? 'Hello, after much soul searching, I've decided to join up with your... what? Him?! Raarrrrghhh!' End of series. Sword: ta, will blog these interviews after the Worldcon stuff. Jay: very much the wrong band, but good to have you onboard.
SO you'ld prefer to be john, or "Paul" then? Only if I get to be George... :D
Really enjoying the Script for the DX stuff. I think the kids are gonna go wild for it.
J
I always want to be Paul. Thanks very much.
Just because of X-Man, I'll return to buying X-comics. I've always been a Nate Grey fan. I hope he goes back to wearing shirts and shoes and grows his hair longer again like the early X-MAN issues.
I've enjoyed writing for him, Rey, I hope you like it.
