Photos from the Signing
From Forbidden Planet in London the other day, taken by Danie Ware and Steve Colgan...

I think I look best in the far distance. I had a lovely time, good to meet so many of you, and thanks to Danie for organising it.

Don't worry Paul - you look lovely. How was your coffee?
They hid you in the basement?!
Thanks for coming in, Paul - very good to have you with us!!
Hmmm - that way out sign ... does that mean they didn't have too much faith in you or that you were 'way out'?
According to THIS PICTURE the book signing got pretty lively. ;)
Thanks, Danie. Tea, actually, and they do make a good one. The basement is where they also hide all the books. That's actually a section, Napoleon (if that is your real name). And Mr. Furious... it's the expression that does it, I think.
Hmm, I always am in the UK at the wrong moments. Well, maybe next time :)
Btw Paul, what do you think of the just released 'Journal of impossible things' toy? I'd never expected it to become available :)
We need to get you to my part of the world sometime soon Paul.
If you come in Winter the shock of the weather mightn't be so bad :-D
I'm trying to get a look at said journal, because I wasn't told about it, and I'm wondering if my work is actually in there. And Daniel, that'd be fine, terms and conditions apply, depending on what part of the world it is.
Australia.
Queensland in fact.
From what I've seen of the Journal, it's the pages from the eppy, with a few other bits and bobs.
Someone (on Doctor Who Forum) who was working on a fan version of it says it's close to what was on screen.
Oh, I assumed the journal was done after consultation with you O_o Then I'd better go out an buy one before it vanishes from the market.
Seriously though, I believe it was only available at Argos this Saturday and will hit other shops in a couple of weeks. There are a couple of photos of its content over at OG: http://www.doctorwhoforum.com/showthread.php?t=215047
I'm sorting it out as we speak. I wouldn't want to keep it from anybody.
There seems to be a wide gap between customers and writer. Did they let anyone come over and talk to you or was it just an opportunity to look at a man sat at a desk?
So that's why they threw peanuts.
