Cap Podcast Interview and Mighty Avengers News

Here's the first of those interviews I mentioned, with the good folk at The Comic Addiction:

http://www.thecomicaddiction.com/features/ca_podcast/tca_ep79.htm

Which is also available on ITunes. It's obvious that we were have a really good time, I think.

And dear old Dan Slott tells me that Cap, Dane and Jac will be popping up for a cameo in Mighty Avengers #22!  I love it when these characters get referenced in the wider Marvel universe.  Cheerio!

A guest appearance in Mighty Avengers? That is good news. All publicity for the title is a good thing. And it'd be interesting to see Dane interacting with some of his old Avengers colleagues.

  • Paul Cornell Says:

It's far too short for that, just a tiny cameo.

Its still a mention in one of Marvel's top sellers, nice one. Does it feel like your kids are going out to play?

I had a gander at the extremely positive response to the Doom/Dracula image on http://www.newsarama.com/comics/010919-CapBritain.html, looks like there maybe a few converts to the cause judging by the reaction.

  • Paul Says:

Thanks for the interview, Paul! We had a great time talking to you. Next time I'll bust out those Frost/Nixon questions, though. I'm really looking forward to that Doom/Dracula meeting.

And a second appearance of the phrase 'beer and lechery,' which I'm really going to have to use more in my day to day life...

  • Anonymous Says:

Haha 'beer and lechery' may just have become potential names for my future offspring.

Loved the idea that 'Tomb of Dracula' was Drac on the back foot and left to his own could become a major player. After all this is a guy who has stood toe to toe with Apocalypse and the X-Men.

Faiza getting a coat of arms and a cheeky mention of an annual...?

    Champion!
