Podcast with Gibbons
The title conjours up a still life painting of some difficulty. However, what I'm talking about is that the Geek Syndicate have put up their podcast (made at the Birmingham International Comics Show) of myself, Dave Gibbons, Mark Buckingham and Doug Braithwaite talking about British comic creators approaching the US industry: which, it turns out, Dave first did in 1973! It can be found here:

And here, courtesy of frontman Liam Sharp, is Tom Daylight's rough phone camera footage of Giant Sized Band Thing playing on the Friday night of that same event:
Nice. Until next time, Cheerio!

Heheh, that's my crappy camera footage :)
And I have now edited the post to credit you.
"conjours"?
My brain is trying to conjure up a reason for your unusual spelling - and failing.
I was so distracted that I almost didn't notice what the rest of the post was about...
I do believe that I just got that podcast via John Suintres' Word Balloon for my iPod.
That's next on my playlist.
Is it unusual spelling, or is it just wrong? Obviously, I will not enjoy continued access to the internet if I can't spell properly. Well I hope you like it, Mr. Furious.
It's wrong for English...
Hi sounds like Birmingham was a great time had. Oh god am starting to sound like Yoda.
Ah birmingham a great time had it was. Help you I can.
I hope to make the Birmingham event next year. Meanwhile I look forword to meeting a few people in Manchester next weekend.
Enjoyed listening to the Geek Syndicate thing.
I see there's a preview of the next issue of CB&MI13 up at Comic Book Resources. Looks good, though I spotted what I at first took to be a really obvious and distracting error by the art team on the final page previewed when Spitfire's, ah, 'injury' switches from one side to the other. Then I noticed the bird-head on her mask was also facing the wrong direction, which I assume means someone flipped that panel before publication. Weird.

I listened to the podcast, and didn't hear a single Gibbon Monkey hoot, howl, or toss feces. Just you, the hosts, and some guy named Dave, who draws stuff.
Blatant false advertising.
;)
