Wow, congrats Paul. I hope you get the OK for the next twelve issues soon.

So far I got the first three covers so let's keep them coming.

  • Niko Says:

    Congratulations, Paul! Well deserved! :)

  • Tom Daylight Says:

Is the "100 reasons why RTD is great" thing coming?

  • Captain Mac Says:

Well done Paul - great stuff!

And eclipsing that, I've just named Human Nature / The Family Of Blood second on my list of the top five new era Doctor Who episodes on my sci-fi blog!

    What a day!;-D

  • Furious D Says:

A second sell out officially makes you a star.

    Congrats.

  • Rocko Jerome Says:

Is this a Captain Britain record?

  • Paul Cornell Says:

Thanks, all. 100 reasons is indeed on its way, starting after the last episode of the season airs. And I doubt its a sales record in itself, considering how much Excalibur used to shift (along with all other comics), but I should think it's a reprint record!

  • Garpu Says:

Congrats! And Saturday can't come quickly enough...the media blackout is making it worse. But you know what? We secretly love it. ;)

  • spacekicker Says:

it's such a great series so far (don't blow it!), and I love the idea of having a web advert for your blog here, it's fun to hear your thoughts. That being said when does #3 come out!!!

  • pbristow Says:

    Congrats, Paul!

'Twas good to meet you, be it ever so briefly, at Proud Lion. (Y'know, every time I see that name, the compulsive spoonerist within me wants to ask the acoustics graduate in me what on earth a Loud Prion would sound like... =8o} )

    And, despite my confession of not being a comics fan, I have actually read my signed copy! =:o}

How long's the story arc? How many issues am I going to have to sneakily purchase and conceal from the bailiffs in order to get some closure?

  • Paul Cornell Says:

Thanks, all. Issue three is out on the 9th/10th depending what side of the Atlantic you are. The current arc finishes with four, with an epilogue in five that also serves to start the next story. I'm so pleased we got you, Bristow, and thanks for coming along.

  • David O Says:

    fantastic :)

  • Rocko Jerome Says:

It's the first stuff to get 3 reprintings since the Jasper's Warp stuff, I reckon.

  • Nightsky Says:

The comics shop near the British Museum told me they couldn't keep Captain Britain in stock.

  • Paul Cornell Says:

Do you mean that they keep selling out of it?

  • Nightsky Says:

Yes, that's what I meant. One guy said that CB was in and sold out so fast that he wasn't sure it wasn't a dream.

  • Paul Cornell Says:

That's what I like to hear!
