Two More for the Hugos
Just thought of two ideas I missed off my Hugo Awards nominations list:
Best Shortform Drama (apart from those I already mentioned): Life on Mars, 'Episode One'. (And it turns out that's all the info the nominations ballot needs.)
Best Editor, Shortform: Dave Bradley, Editor: SFX Magazine.
It'd be good to see them get some recognition. Is Life on Mars SF? Let's see it get into the Hugo shortlist before we find out.
And here's a link for the 10th Planet signing of Circular Time on Saturday:

Have you seen the LoM series 2 teaser?
LoM series 2 trailer (poor quality site - not like youtube and its alarming collection of LoM fanvids)
I am now going into deep spoilerphobe hibernation...
I've become a great fan of this show. And it's such a brave decision to give it a definite ending rather than milk it.
LoM is one of those shows I watched on a lark because of the title (Bowie fan too) and after the first ep I was hooked. I was lucky they put it OnDemand for BBCAmerica, after it aired in the states.
I agree that a show like this is better served by a definate ending. It's only so long before you start thinking it's getting silly to drag out what is going on exactly.
You seen the Xaxis review of Wisdom 2 yet?

gmA Followup to the SFWA nomination for Doctor Who...
Having been the chair of the 2006 Nebula Awards held last year, I'm glad to see a Dr. Who script make it onto the list this year.
I haven't seen a series 2 script book yet and I think it might help its chances if an electronic version of the script was made available to SFWA members. If you can help arrange for that, I can get it to the SFWA webmaster and they will make it available to SFWA members only.
See you at Gallifrey!

Now that Julie Gardner has made it official that your two-parter has 'links' with Human Nature does that mean you can talk about it? Don't expect so, but that's fine by me - can't wait for the eps and I think anymore excitement regarding series 3 would hurt my head (Derek Jacobi?!)
Also, read the 1st part of the Wisdom series - twas very cool, and i'm reliably informed that part 2 is "mental", which down here in Cardiff is regarded as a very good thing.
Indeed, Cat. Lee, I very much doubt they'd go for that. And I don't think GITF needs the help, but it's a kind thought on your part, and I look forward to seeing you in L.A.. As always, I can't say more than is out there. Glad you're enjoying Wisdom. Issue three may be even more mental for you, because it's set in Cardiff.
Hey Paul,
I was supposed to come down to Barking and see you on Saturday. Unfortunetly I wasn't able to get down, so I missed you.
Hope you had a good time. I'll catch you at something if I can.
Thanks, Martin
Sorry you didn't make it.
Sorry, Mark P, I only just saw your posting! You mean this review?

Wa-hey! I love the reviews we're getting. Thanks for pointing that out.
I did indeed mean that review. Nice to see the Brits appreciate it after what that mean American said.

Now, don't tell me about the mean American. Unless you mean your wife, in which case definitely don't tell me.
