  I was lucky once, and got a night out with Paul (and various and sundry other folks) completely free (Thanks Exeter University MicroCon!), but sadly it preceded my Who fandom and so I didn't fully appreciate my exceptional luck. I just thought I was talking with a really cool and funny Veronica Mars fan, it wasn't until a month and a half later I discovered he was *also* a brilliant TV writer.
